I separated this snake plant pup (and three others) from a mother plant 2 weeks back. This pup is barely 3 inches tall and did not have roots when I separated it to repot. Few days later I saw this growth next to it and I am wondering what it is. I imagine this pup is too small and young to be producing offspring or flowers of its own, right?

that, in my expert opinion, is definately NOT a snakeplant

honestly though, its just a random seed in your soil that started to grow, happens a lot in fresh soil.

It’s definitely not your snake plant but I am nosey and would let it grow just until you could identify it.
